Pawn Power Open 9 is May 18th-20th or 19th-20th, 2012 at the GMCC!  5SS, G/120, $750 prizes based on 40 entries.  Accelerated pairings will be used.  Rounds: 3-day option: Fri 7pm, Sat 2pm & 7pm, Sun 9am & 2pm. 2-day option: Sat 9am, 2pm & 7pm; Sun 9am & 2pm. On-site registration: Fri: 5:30-6:30pm or Sat: 7:30-8:30am. Prizes 1st $300, $200, $100. Top U1600 and U1400: $100 each. EF: $40 ($35 for MCC and GMCC members).

Pyramid Ladder 4 takes place on May 11, 2012 with 1 match.

Friday, May 25, 2012 is Pyramid Ladder Play!  Pick your opponent and choose your time control!  All games are rated weekly and are USCF rated.

Memphis Scholastic Chess hosts  several chess camps this summer.
